Sawyer LeeĀ - (1-on-1) Mentorship
About the Teacher:Ā
Sawyer Lee is the author and illustrator of the popular Dragonslayer Codex book series, known for its richly imagined creature design, speculative evolution, and worldbuilding. His background spans indie publishing, Kickstarter campaigns, TTRPG design, and contract work in video games.
He shares his process with a wide audience through his art-focused YouTube channel. A firm believer in the entrepreneurial spirit of the modern artist, Sawyer has led talks and workshops at SCAD for business and illustration students.
In his mentorships at Huckleberry Art Academy, he teaches artists how to design creatures that feel like they evolved, build believable worlds from the ground up, and turn that creative work into a sustainable career.
